Paul Oxtoby & Chris Jones
Chris Jones martial arts actor/stuntman came to a Kickboxing session at Ox Martial Arts.
Chris has appeared in many action films and TV programmes and runs a full time martial arts academy in Knaresborough.

Ox Martial Arts entered the Hwarang-do invitational tournament at Dearne Valley leisure centre with clubs from all around the area including:
Hosinsul TKD, Hwarang-do, Sonbae TKD, Diamond TKD, PR TKD, Mountain TKD, Carneys TKD.
Sparring Competitors:
Cameron M - Silver a great 'first' ever fight it takes a lot of courage to get on the mat you did well.
Rebecca - Gold took the fight at last minute to help the competition organisers and fought really great in her 'first' fight.
Cameron H- Gold what an amazing fight after a clash of knees in the 1st round went on to score plenty of head shots in the 2nd round well done.
Joe- Gold a hard fight against a strong opponent well done.
Jay - Gold timing was spot on with lots of solid shots well done hope the foot gets better soon!
Cory - Gold an excellent fight 'fight of the day' was mentioned by many people including the organisers.
Peggy Gold after a 7 year break from sparring competitions you came back strong, accurate and technical.
Patterns Competitors:
Rebecca - Silver well done at your first pattern competition.
Charlotte - Silver well done at your first pattern competition.
Joe- Silver well done in a hard category with plenty of competitors.
Alex - Bronze well done the youngest in a very large technical group.
Peggy - Gold well done having to perform an extra pattern in a tie break final.

MUAY THAI SEMINAR WITH CHANOY

Ox Martial Arts Instructor Paul Oxtoby attended a Muay Thai seminar with legendry Thai fighter/trainer Chanoy.
The seminar was hosted by Phil Glover at his gym in Maltby, a big thanks to Phil for the invite and Chanoy for the excellent seminar.
The seminar covered kicks, knees, clinch work and Chanoys speciality elbow techniques.

KUKKIWON PRESENTATION

Ox Martial Arts students received their Kukkiwon dan certificates from the World Taekwondo Headquarters in Korea.
The Kukkiwon certificate is considered the most prestigious Taekwondo certificate in the world and is internationally recognised.

A big well done to Holly Furniss 4th place in her first competition, and Liam with a great match losing just 6-8 .
Ox Martial Arts Club Outing -Wrestling
OxMartialarts Club went to support 'Rainz' the former British Heavyweight Wresting Champion at a local wrestling event.
'Rainz' is a Kukkiwon registered blackbelt and former International silver medallist at Taekwondo.
His Brother and Nephew are members of OxMartialArts Kickboxing Club.
The event was a great day out for all the family.
